Hazelhurst Fruitery, Sheffield

 

Reckless Orchard was delighted to be commissioned to design this community fruitery on the outskirts of Sheffield. The layout took into account changing soil and drainage conditions across the site as well as potential frost pockets and cold and prevailing winds.  The design incorporated existing features such as mature trees and a stream to provide natural play opportunities.  A meeting area and fire circle were also included.
