Broadmead Urban Regeneration

 

Reckless Orchard was commissioned by the Broadmead Board Ltd to develop a masterplan for the redevelopment of the streets in this key city centre retail area of Bristol.  This was one of the first BID (Business Improvement District) projects in the country.  The improvements focused on the main pedestrian streets, with new paving, street trees, street furniture and a recycled blue glass river motif. Integrated artworks were specially commissioned from Marion Brandis.
